This action is permanent. Deleting your account will remove all your personal data, profile information, and activity history from Hindu Chat. This cannot be undone.
Delete from the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from within the Hindu Chat app:

Open Hindu Chat
Launch the app on your Android device.

Go to Profile
Tap on your profile icon or navigate to the Profile screen.

Open Settings
Scroll to the bottom and tap Settings or the gear icon.

Tap "Delete Account"
Confirm the deletion when prompted. You will be logged out immediately.
What Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
Full name, email, phone number Deleted
Profile image & cover image Deleted
Bio, gender, date of birth Deleted
Device FCM token (push notifications) Deleted
OTP logs & authentication history Deleted
Gaurakshak registration data Deleted
Aggregated & anonymized analytics Retained
Retained data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you.
Request Deletion by Email
If you are unable to access the app, send us a deletion request directly:
Deletion Timeline
- Deletion requests are processed within 7 business days of verification.
- All personal data is permanently purged within 30 days.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been deleted.
- Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
